Country House

The Country House Restaurant is located in the Town of Brookhaven, New York, and offers a cozy dining experience. The restaurant has a historic landmark building that was originally a farm house and has been used as a town meeting place and stage coach stop.

The building has a rich history, with George Washington's spies in the Culper Spy Ring having meetings there during the Revolutionary War. The restaurant is also said to be haunted by the spirit of a young girl named Annette Williamson, who was wrongly accused of being a British spy and murdered in the building.

The Country House Restaurant offers a variety of menu options, including brunch items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and French toast. They also have a selection of starters, including seafood bisque, French onion soup, and steamed chicken and lemongrass dumplings.

The restaurant's menu also features a range of entrees, including lobster pot, shrimp cocktail, and coquilles Saint-Jacques. They also offer a variety of flatbreads, salads, and burgers, including 100% American Wagyu burgers.

The Country House Restaurant is owned by Bob Willemstyn, who has continued the tradition of fine dining established by the restaurant's previous owners. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere and offers a range of dining options, including weddings and special events.
